As a creator, I produce, portray, and aid in the creation of projects that speak tot he human condition and the mundane happenings of existing. I create products that highlight the tiny things of life.

The world requires art to function: from the architects who design our buildings to the interfaces on our phones. Art is embedded in every aspect of who we are as a people today. We create value and culture. To create brings the mundane alive and gives new meaning to the familiar.

As someone who works in a variety of roles of art, directing, acting, producing, and marketing, I have witnessed and experienced the many intricacies of how important and integral every role is to a production and how this translates to society as a whole. If one piece falls away, we don’t succeed. We help each other. We pick up where one is needing help. We join together to make an end product that breathes life into the old and the new.

This is why art holds the importance it does. We all have something we love and something we hate. Even if art is filling you with rage, it’s doing its job. It is making you feel. We are all so essential and necessary in feeling in this world. Without the “other” there is nothing to push and pull against. We go to museums to see pieces from hundreds of years ago, we turn on our TV’s to see the latest drama. But we are all tuned in. No matter how “stupid” any of it seems, even if it only matters to you, only to the creator, there is purpose.

We create because we care. I create because I care. Because I believe all my unique experiences that can never exactly match another’s has given me this exact perspective on life, and people should be privy to that.
